The electro-hydraulic thruster is employed as a driving gear for spring-applied drum brakes of lifting equipment as well as
other machinery serving for mechanization of various production processes.
During technical process of hydraulic thrusters production the following goals were achieved: product reliability, hard-wearing and
antifriction material application, chemicothermal processing, specific quantity of metal reduction by rational choice of workpiece blanks production,
usage of advanced equipment in workpiece blanks production as well as in machining process, that provides relevant production quality.
Distinguishing characteristics of the hydraulic thrusters TE series are faster time of the rod setting, reduced weight of the mechanism in
comparison with other producer’s, owing to structural assembly reinforcement several time increased maximum service life and prevention of
working fluid leaking into the motor that provides prolonged service life of the equipment and its reliability. Due to high technology
applied in production and specific method of casting the thruster provides solid operation.
The hydraulic thrusters are restricted to be applied in explosion hazard environment, likewise in environment affecting rubber,
metals and insulation resistance.

Design
The electro-hydraulic thruster converts electric energy into mechanical and consists of an asynchronous motor, end shield, rotor wheel,
pump casing, piston with a lifting rod, cylinder and casing. The thruster is filled with transformer oil and requires easy maintenance.
Pouring of working fluid in and out of the thruster chamber is carried out through the opening in the thruster casing that is
closed with a gasket ring plug.
