Crane resistance boxes BR6F series (of a belt type) are employed for starting, braking and regulating speed of current motors that operate in electric drives of loading cranes. The resistance boxes are capable to function in alternating current lines with frequency 50/60 Hz up to 660 V and direct current lines up to 440 V. The resistance boxes have copper outlets passed through electrochemical tinning.

The operation conditions of the resistance boxes are

• ambient air temperature from -45°C to +40°C
• relative air humidity 80% at temperature 15°C
• absence of direct solar radiation
• altitude above sea level up to 1000m

The resistance boxes are necessary to place in premises (housing) or under sheds which prevent from direct impact of solar radiation and atmospheric precipitation. The resistance boxes have an open construction in terms of practicability and characteristic of natural cooling.
